Download PDF orders from eBay.

Print the Invoice/Packing slip for every order from Seller Hub, then buy the Royal Mail Tracked 48 postage label through the eBay Postage menu. Drop both PDFs into MeshX.

Step 01Open OrderseBay

Open Seller Hub → Orders and select every order to fulfil

  1. Log into eBay and open Seller Hub.
  2. Click Orders in the top nav.
  3. Filter for new / unfulfilled orders and tick the Actions checkbox at the top of the table to select them all.
  4. Confirm the counter shows "Results: N of N (N orders selected)".
Step 02Postage menueBay

Click Postage → Print invoices and more

  1. Above the orders table, click the Postage ▾ dropdown.
  2. Choose Print invoices and more.
  3. A "Print documents" dialog opens.

Note the other Postage menu options — Get postage label, Add tracking, Mark as dispatched. You'll use Get postage label in Step 05.

Click Customise under Invoice/Packing slip. In the Order info panel set:

Click Done, then check the preview on the right matches the layout shown below.

Critical
Custom label must be ticked. Without it, eBay omits the SKU from the packing slip and MeshX can't match the order to a product. If you only remember one setting from this page, remember that one.
Step 04Save as PDFeBay

Save the Pack file as a PDF

  1. Click Print in the bottom-right of the Print documents dialog.
  2. Your browser's print dialog opens. Set Printer: Microsoft Print to PDF (or Save as PDF on Mac).
  3. Layout Portrait, Pages All, Colour Colour.
  4. Click Print / Save and name the file using the MeshX convention:

Each page should show: eBay logo, Post to buyer address, Order number, Item with Garment & Size / Colour, and Custom label (SKU).

Step 05Buy postage labelseBay

Buy Royal Mail Tracked 48 labels through eBay

  1. Back on the Orders list, keep your orders selected.
  2. Click Postage ▾ → Get postage label.
  3. eBay opens the Buy postage label screen for each order.
  4. Under Parcel → Size select Large letter (Max 35.3 × 25 × 2.5 cm).
  5. Under Weight select 750g to 1kg.
  6. Under Service, Royal Mail Tracked 48 — Drop-off will be auto-selected (marked Buyer selected). Price ≈ £2.85.
  7. Under Postage label format choose Printable label (not QR code).
  8. Under Pay with choose Your funds — this deducts from your eBay balance; no card charge needed.
  9. Click Buy postage label.
Multi-item orders
For orders with multiple items, switch Size to Small parcel (Max 45 × 35 × 16 cm) and weight to the next bracket up. eBay will re-quote — usually still Royal Mail Tracked 48 but at a higher price. The buyer's selected service is preserved where possible.
One-off setup
Seller Hub → Account → Business policies → Postage. Create a policy with Royal Mail Tracked 48 as the default service, and set it as the default on every listing. This way every order arrives pre-tagged with the right service.
Step 06Save Post as PDFeBay

Download the postage labels PDF

  1. eBay generates the label in the format PDF 4" × 6" (you can see it confirmed in Order details → Print format).
  2. Click the Print or Download link when the label appears.
  3. Save using the MeshX convention — same date, order count and customer number as the Pack file:

If you bought labels for multiple orders in bulk, they'll come out as one combined PDF. If bought one-by-one, use Get labels in bulk or merge the PDFs before uploading.

Step 07Upload to MeshXeBay

Drop both PDFs into MeshX Upload Orders

  1. Open MeshX Create → Upload Orders.
  2. Drag in both the Pack and Post PDFs for the same batch.
  3. Wait for SKU validation.
  4. Pay via Stripe. Orders print and dispatch within 2–3 working days.
  • Custom label (SKU) visible on every packing slip
  • Post PDF has a Royal Mail label for every order
  • Filenames match: same DD.MM.YY, same N_Orders, same Customer_Number
  • Multi-item orders upgraded to Small Parcel
