PNG Processing.
Batch process design PNGs for printing โ halftone screening, TIFF conversion, or both.
What is PNG Processing?
A batch processing tool for preparing design PNGs for screen printing. Drop your design files, choose an output format, and the system processes them in bulk โ halftone screening, TIFF conversion with W1 underbase, or both.
Output formats
| Format | Description |
|---|---|
| PNG Halftone | Halftoned PNG files โ dot pattern applied for screen printing. |
| TIFF | TIFF output with W1 underbase layer โ ready for direct-to-film or screen print RIP software. |
| TIFF Halftone | Both โ halftoned output with W1 underbase in TIFF format. |
TIFF formats include a Choke setting (0โ10px) โ the W1 underbase contracts inward by this many pixels to prevent white edges showing through on the final print.
Garment colour
When halftone is enabled, select the garment colour the designs will be printed on. The halftone algorithm is garment-aware โ colours close to the garment colour are screened more heavily so they blend naturally with the fabric.
Options include Black, White, Navy, Charcoal, Sand, and other common garment colours.
Halftone mode
Three modes for controlling which areas of the design get halftoned:
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Transparency & Black (default) | Halftones transparent areas everywhere; applies full halftone on black garments. Recommended for most batches. |
| Selected colours only | Halftone only specific garment colours you select. Gives fine control for multi-garment runs. |
| Transparency only | Soft edges to dots โ RGB colours are unchanged. Use when you want minimal screening. |
Processing
Drop PNG files (no limit on quantity), configure your format and halftone settings, then click Process. A progress bar shows batch status. Results download as a ZIP when complete.
