Manual Orders.
Create orders by hand for sales from Facebook Marketplace, WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, or any off-platform channel.
When to use this
Not every sale comes through a marketplace listing. If a customer messages you on Facebook Marketplace, WhatsApp, Instagram, or any other channel and wants to buy, Manual Orders lets you create a proper MeshX order so it flows through the same pipeline as your Etsy/eBay/TikTok orders — print files, pick lists, fulfilment, tracking.
Where to find it
Go to Shop Manager → Manual Orders. You'll see a list of all your manual orders (empty at first) with a New manual order button in the top right.
Creating a new order
Click New manual order. The form collects:
Customer details

| Customer name | Full name — appears on packing slip and postage label. |
| Customer email (optional) | If provided, the customer receives dispatch notifications with tracking. |
Line items
Add one or more items to the order. Each line item specifies the design PNG, garment model, and quantity.
Fulfilment partner
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| MeshX (Swansea) | Routed to MeshX's own print facility for fulfilment. |
| Connect partner | Routed to a third-party fulfilment partner connected to your account. |
Payment mode
| Mode | How it works |
|---|---|
| Stripe payment link | MeshX generates a Stripe payment link and (optionally) emails it to the customer. The order moves to Paid automatically when the customer pays. |
| Cash | For in-person or already-collected payment. You confirm payment manually — the order skips the payment-link step. |
Order status pipeline
Every manual order moves through these stages:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Order created but not yet submitted. You can still edit. |
| Awaiting payment | Stripe payment link sent — waiting for customer to pay. |
| Paid | Payment received (Stripe or cash). Order is ready for fulfilment. |
| Sent to printer | Order pushed to the fulfilment partner. Print files generated. |
| Complete | Printed, packed, and dispatched. Tracking sent to customer if email was provided. |
| Cancelled | Order cancelled before completion. |
Managing manual orders
The Manual Orders list shows all your orders in a table:
- Customer — name and email
- Items — total quantity and line count
- Partner — which fulfilment partner
- Mode — Stripe link or Cash
- Total — order value in GBP
- Status — coloured badge showing current pipeline stage
- Created — date the order was entered
Click Open → on any row to view the full order detail, resend payment links, or update status.
Tips
Manual orders appear in Order Processing with the source tag "Manual" so you can distinguish them from marketplace orders. They're otherwise identical — same print quality, same fulfilment speed, same tracking.
