Digital Design Processor.

Generate two versions of every design โ€” Class A previews for listings and Class B print-ready files for customers โ€” in one batch.

01Concept

What is the Digital Design Processor?

When you sell designs as digital products (downloadable files rather than printed garments), you need two versions of each design:

ClassPurposeTypical spec
Class A โ€” PreviewUsed in your listing images and mockups. Watermarked or low-res so it can't be used without purchasing.1200ร—1200px, 72 DPI, visible watermark, JPEG or PNG
Class B โ€” Customer fileThe actual product the customer downloads after purchase. Full resolution, no watermark, print-ready.4500ร—5400px (or original), 300 DPI, transparent PNG, no watermark

The Digital Design Processor generates both classes from your source designs in one batch โ€” no manual Photoshop work, no accidentally sending preview files to customers.

02Where

Where to find it

In MeshX Create, go to Create Designs and look for Digital Design Processor in the tool list. It appears below the standard design tools (Vault, Infinite, Forge, etc.).

Availability
Available on paid plans โ€” see meshx.uk for current plan details.
03Input

Step 1 โ€” Select source designs

Choose which designs to process. Three input methods:

  • From Library โ€” select designs from your MeshX Library. Multi-select with checkboxes or Shift+click for ranges.
  • From Final Designs โ€” process your entire curated shortlist in one go.
  • Upload โ€” drag and drop source PNGs directly. These are added to your Library as well.

Source designs should be the highest resolution available โ€” the processor scales down for Class A but can't scale up for Class B.

Resolution
For best results, source designs should be at least 4500px on the longest edge. Designs under 3000px will produce a warning โ€” Class B output may not be print-quality.
04Class A

Step 2 โ€” Configure Class A (Preview)

SettingOptions
Output size1200ร—1200 (default), 1500ร—1500, 2000ร—2000, or Custom (px). Design is centred and padded to fit the square.
BackgroundTransparent (default), White, or Custom colour. Transparent outputs as PNG; solid backgrounds can output as JPEG for smaller file size.
WatermarkText watermark โ€” enter your text (e.g. your store name). Choose position (diagonal, centre, tiled), opacity (10โ€“90%), and colour.
Image watermark โ€” upload a logo PNG. Same position and opacity options.
None โ€” no watermark (not recommended for preview files).
Output formatPNG (default) or JPEG (smaller files, no transparency). JPEG quality slider: 70โ€“95%.
DPI72 (screen, default) or 150 (higher quality previews).
05Class B

Step 3 โ€” Configure Class B (Customer file)

SettingOptions
Output sizeOriginal (default โ€” keeps source dimensions), or set a specific size. Designs are never upscaled beyond source resolution.
BackgroundTransparent (default) or a solid colour.
Output formatPNG (default โ€” preserves transparency) or TIFF (for professional print workflows).
DPI300 (print standard, default), 150, or 600.
Colour profilesRGB (default โ€” web and most printers) or Adobe RGB (wider gamut for professional printing).
Bundle as ZIPIf ticked, all Class B files for the batch are packaged into a single ZIP for delivery. Useful when selling design packs.
No watermark
Class B files never include a watermark. This is the paid product โ€” customers get the clean, full-quality file.
06Process

Step 4 โ€” Run the batch

Click Start processing. A progress bar shows the batch status. For each source design, the processor outputs:

  • One Class A file โ†’ saved to a /previews subfolder
  • One Class B file โ†’ saved to a /customer-files subfolder

Processing speed depends on batch size and output dimensions. A typical batch of 100 designs at default settings takes 2โ€“5 minutes.

Step 5 โ€” Review and use

After processing, the results page shows a side-by-side preview of Class A and Class B for each design. From here:

  • Download all โ€” ZIP containing both /previews and /customer-files folders
  • Download Class A only โ€” for uploading to marketplace listings
  • Download Class B only โ€” for uploading to MeshX Drive or your Delivery Node
  • Send to Drive โ€” upload Class B files directly to MeshX Drive for Storefront digital delivery
