Create Mockups.

How mockups work

A Mockup Set is a collection of product templates (e.g. "T-Shirt Flat Lay", "Model Wearing", "On Hanger") that share the same design placement. You create a set once, then batch-process all your Final Designs through it.

Each set contains:

• Templates — product images with a defined Print Box (where the design gets composited)
• Static images — additional images that don't get a design overlay (e.g. size charts, colour swatches)
• Overlay (optional) — a texture layer composited on top of the design for realism

Creating a mockup set

1. Click Create Mockups in the sidebar.
2. Click New Set and give it a label (e.g. "Flat Lay White BG").
3. Choose the Product type: Clothing or Digital.
4. Upload your template images (the blank product photos).
5. For each template, draw or adjust the Print Box — this defines exactly where the design is placed (x%, y%, width%, height%, rotation).
6. Set the Opacity for the design overlay (default 87% — gives a realistic "printed on fabric" look).
7. Mark templates as Dark if the garment is a dark colour — this affects how the design blends.
8. Optionally upload static images (size chart, colour chart).

Running a batch

1. Select a mockup set.
2. Your Final Designs are loaded automatically.
3. Click Run Batch.
4. The system composites each design onto every template in the set, producing 2000×2000px output images.
5. Images are compressed to under 500 KB (JPEG) for marketplace-friendly file sizes.
6. Results appear in the set's output gallery, ready for the Catalogue.

Personalisation toggle

For clothing sets, each template has an optional Personalise toggle. When enabled, a random sample name is overlaid on the design before compositing — useful for previewing personalised products. The colour auto-matches the real order output.
