How to get Amazon spreadsheet templates.

Download the correct Adult T-shirt and Kids T-shirt product spreadsheet templates from Amazon Seller Central โ€” you'll need these to list via MeshX's Amazon CSV export.

Why you need this
MeshX Create exports your catalogue items as an Amazon-format .tsv file. To upload that file to Amazon, your Seller Central account needs the matching product spreadsheet template already set up. This guide walks you through downloading the Adult and Kids T-shirt templates.
Step 01Seller Central

Open "List your products" in Amazon Seller Central

  1. Log into Amazon Seller Central.
  2. In the top navigation, go to Catalogue โ†’ List your products (or search for "Add Products" in the Seller Central search bar).
  3. You'll land on the "List your products โ€” Select an option to get started" page.
Step 02Spreadsheet tab

Click the Spreadsheet tab

At the top of the page you'll see a row of icons: Search ยท Product image ยท Product IDs ยท Web URL ยท Blank form ยท Spreadsheet.

Click Spreadsheet (the last icon on the right โ€” looks like a grid/table icon).

This switches the view to show:

  • An upload area: "Upload a catalogue spreadsheet in Amazon format or your own custom format"
  • An Upload file button (you'll use this later when uploading MeshX exports)
  • A Download blank template link at the bottom
Step 03Download template

Click "Download blank template"

At the bottom of the Spreadsheet panel, click ๐Ÿ“‹ Download blank template.

A side panel slides in from the right: "Choose a template to get started". You'll see several options:

  • List products already in Amazon's catalogue โ€” not what we need
  • List products that are not currently in Amazon's catalogue โ€” click Download product spreadsheet
  • List products by converting your non-Amazon file(s) โ€” not what we need
  • Update price & quantity โ€” not what we need

Click the teal Download product spreadsheet button.

Step 04Download product spreadsheet

The "Download product spreadsheet" panel opens

A new panel opens with three sections to fill in:

  1. Select language to enter product details
  2. Select the types of products that you want to sell
  3. Select the stores where you want to create offers
Step 05Language & product type

Set language and search for "Shirt"

Language

Spreadsheet language
English (Amazon.co.uk) โ€” select this from the dropdown

Product type search

  1. In the "Search product type using one of these inputs" box, type: shirt
  2. Amazon returns matching product types. You'll see three results:
    • Nightgown & Nightshirt โ€” ignore this
    • Shirt โ€” Browse nodes (X/442) โ€” this is the one you want
    • Sweatshirt โ€” ignore for now (unless you sell hoodies/sweaters too)
  3. Click Select next to Shirt.
Step 06Adult browse nodes

Select browse nodes for Adult T-shirts

After clicking Select on "Shirt", a "Recommended browse nodes" panel opens showing all 442 category nodes under "Shirt". You need to find and tick the Adult T-shirt nodes.

For the Adult template, tick these two:

  1. Select Custom selection at the top (not "Select all" or "Recommended keywords").
  2. Scroll down (or use Ctrl+F in your browser) and tick:
    • โœ… Men's T-Shirts โ€” Fashion > Men > Clothing > Tops, T-Shirts & Shirts > T-Shirts
    • โœ… Novelty T-Shirts โ€” Fashion > Novelty & Special Use Clothing > Novelty > Tops & Tees > T-Shirts
  3. The counter at the top should show 2/442 selected.
  4. Click Continue.
Why these two?
Men's T-Shirts covers the main men's fashion category. Novelty T-Shirts covers the novelty/print-on-demand category where most POD designs sell. Together they give your listings maximum visibility in search.
Step 07Kids browse nodes

Select browse nodes for Kids T-shirts

For the Kids template, you'll do the same process but tick different nodes. When you're back at the browse nodes panel, tick:

  • โœ… Boys' T-Shirts โ€” Fashion > Boys > Clothing > Tops, T-Shirts & Shirts > T-Shirts
  • โœ… Girls' T-Shirts โ€” Fashion > Girls > Clothing > Tops, T-Shirts & Blouses > T-Shirts

Counter should show 2/442 selected. Click Continue.

Two separate templates
You'll generate the Adult and Kids spreadsheets as two separate downloads. Run through this entire flow once for Adult (Men's + Novelty T-Shirts), then repeat it for Kids (Boys' + Girls' T-Shirts). This gives you two template files that match MeshX's CSV export format.
Step 08Preferences & stores

Confirm selections, set listing preferences, and choose your store

After clicking Continue on the browse nodes, you're back at the main "Download product spreadsheet" panel. You'll now see:

Product type selected

The right sidebar shows Shirt โ€” Browse nodes (2/442) with a โœ“ tick and an "Unselect" option. Confirm this looks right.

Listing Preferences

If you see a "Select your Listing Preferences" section with an "Apply preferences" checkbox:

  1. Tick Apply preferences.
  2. Under Shirt, confirm it shows your preference name (e.g. Shirt (UK)). Click Edit if you need to change it.

If you haven't set up listing preferences yet, leave this unticked โ€” you can set them up later.

Select the stores where you want to create offers

Tick only the stores you sell on. For UK sellers:

Europe
โœ… Amazon.co.uk โ€” tick this
Everything else
Leave unticked (unless you sell on other Amazon marketplaces)
Step 09Generate

Click "Generate spreadsheet"

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the panel.
  2. You may see info banners about template version updates and Variation Theme changes โ€” read if relevant but no action needed.
  3. Click the teal Generate spreadsheet button in the bottom-right corner.
  4. Amazon generates your template and starts a download (Excel format).
  5. Save the file somewhere memorable โ€” name it clearly, e.g. Amazon Adult Tshirt Template.xlsx.
Step 10Repeat for Kids

Repeat the entire process for the Kids template

  1. Go back to Download blank template โ†’ Download product spreadsheet.
  2. Set language to English (Amazon.co.uk) again.
  3. Search shirt again โ†’ click Select next to Shirt.
  4. In the browse nodes panel, select Custom selection and tick:
    • โœ… Boys' T-Shirts
    • โœ… Girls' T-Shirts
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Set store to Amazon.co.uk.
  7. Click Generate spreadsheet.
  8. Save as Amazon Kids Tshirt Template.xlsx.
Done
You now have two Amazon spreadsheet templates: one for Adult T-shirts (Men's + Novelty) and one for Kids T-shirts (Boys' + Girls'). These are the templates MeshX's Amazon CSV export is designed to populate. Keep them safe โ€” you'll re-use them every time you upload new listings.
