Royal Mail Click & Drop

Connect your own Click & Drop account and your shop orders appear in it automatically, ready for you to buy the label. Afterwards, Get tracking from Click & Drop on the Orders page adds the tracking and emails your customer. Any Click & Drop account works — no OBA account needed.

How to get your key (2 minutes)

    Open Click & Drop

    Log in at parcel.royalmail.com with the account you buy postage on.

    Settings â€ș Integrations

    Top right: Settings, then Integrations, then “Add a new integration”.

    Search “api”

    Type api in the search box and choose Click & Drop API (under Webstores & tools).

  4. 4

    Fill it in and save

    Pick your trading name (it prints as the sender), tick “Use shipping address for billing address”, leave batches unticked, then Save.

  5. 5

    Copy the key

    Open the integration you just made. Copy the Click & Drop API authorisation key and paste it below.

Your key is stored on our server only and is never shown again in full. Royal Mail’s API can create orders and read tracking on every account; buying the label stays in Click & Drop.
