Back to WhatsApp Marketing
Pair your dedicated phone
One-time setup. Pair a SIM-only burner phone via WhatsApp Web, then the worker can send on your behalf without you opening WhatsApp again.
- 1. Get a SIM-only burner phone. A cheap second-hand Android, fresh SIM, only used for this storefront's marketing. Never your personal number.
- 2. Install WhatsApp on the burner. Verify with the new SIM. Don't link to any other identity.
- 3. Click "Generate QR" below. The worker on VM5 boots a headless browser, opens WhatsApp Web, and shows a QR code.
- 4. On the burner phone: WhatsApp → Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device → scan the QR.
- 5. Done. Session persists indefinitely until WhatsApp logs out or bans the number. Re-pair if either happens.
Ban-risk hygiene rules the worker enforces
- Hard cap of 100 messages per day per paired phone, ramping from 30 over the first week
- Random 30–90s delay between each message, plus a 5–15 min break every 25 messages
- Light text variations on each send (random emoji, "Hi" vs "Hey", trailing punctuation)
- Stops automatically if WhatsApp web throws errors or rate limits
The dedicated worker process is being built next session — see the WhatsApp worker scaffold at C:\Nexus\storefront\worker-whatsapp\. UI surface is ready; pairing flow comes online when the worker is deployed to VM5.
